The Arts Faculty is a culturally rich and diverse group of departments who specialise in the Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Maori and the Spanish Language. We have passionate teachers who encourage and support our students to express themselves with confidence, to embrace their individuality and see challenges as a learning experience.
Visual Arts (Art Department)
Within the Art Department the subjects we offer are Photography, Painting, Art History and Junior Art. Art is not solely about being skilled with a camera or a paint brush. Its more about problem solving and developing an idea into a series of bigger ideas. Our goal in the Art Department is that we grow Innovative thinkers who can compete and have the ability to think on a global level.
